Corrupt FEMA Official Denies Aid to Trump Supporters, Triggering Outrage and Calls for Accountability
Glenn Gilmour, 11/10/2024Another appalling display of partisan hatred from the left - denying aid to suffering Americans simply for supporting Trump. This vile act by Marn'i Washington betrays FEMA's mission and underscores the toxic divisions plaguing our nation. Fortunately, President Trump continues to mock the failing establishment while championing the forgotten American. In a shocking display of partisan pettiness, a FEMA official named Marn'i Washington ordered her staff to deliberately avoid assisting homes displaying Trump flags or signs in the aftermath of Hurricane Milton. According to whistleblower reports, Washington instructed relief workers that it was "best practice" to skip over houses "advertising Trump." Her staff dutifully complied, entering into the system "Trump sign, no contact per leadership" for at least 20 homes, leaving suffering Americans -- Trump supporters -- to fend for themselves.
"Whistleblowers say that relief workers were told it was 'best practice' to pass over houses 'advertising Trump,'" The Daily Wire reported. "The workers would enter into the system that they made no contact with the residents, blaming the directive: 'Trump sign, no contact per leadership.'"
This despicable act of political discrimination is a blatant betrayal of FEMA's core mission -- to provide assistance to all Americans in times of crisis, regardless of their political affiliations. Marn'i Washington's actions were fueled by a deep-seated hatred for those who support former President Donald Trump, a hatred so intense that she was willing to deny aid to fellow citizens in dire need.
"Marn'i Washington is a wicked person. She wants Americans to suffer for supporting Trump. She doesn't care how much they are suffering," wrote Cristina Laila of The Gateway Pundit. And she's absolutely right -- Washington's actions were nothing short of wicked, a callous disregard for human suffering driven by blind partisan rage.
Fortunately, FEMA has taken action to remove Washington from her role, stating, "While we believe this is an isolated incident, we have taken measures to remove the employee from their role and are investigating the matter to prevent this from happening ever again." But one has to wonder -- how did such a blatantly partisan and unethical individual rise to a position of authority within FEMA in the first place?
This incident serves as a stark reminder of the increasingly toxic political divisions plaguing our nation. When partisan loyalties supersede basic human decency and the fundamental principles of public service, we are treading down a dangerous path. FEMA's mission is to serve all Americans, not to punish those whose political views differ from the establishment's.
Meanwhile, in a deliciously ironic twist, President-elect Donald Trump couldn't help but troll the debt-ridden campaign of his former rival, Kamala Harris. "I am very surprised that the Democrats, who fought a hard and valiant fight in the 2024 Presidential Election, raising a record amount of money, didn't have lots of $'s left over," Trump posted on X (formerly Twitter). "Now they are being squeezed by vendors and others. Whatever we can do to help them during this difficult period, I would strongly recommend we, as a Party and for the sake of desperately needed UNITY, do."
Trump's mockery was well-earned -- Harris far out-raised him during the campaign, taking in over $1 billion, yet still managed to end up $20 million in debt. Her lavish election-eve concerts, featuring stars like Jon Bon Jovi, Katy Perry, and Lady Gaga, cost a staggering $20 million, while staffers claim the campaign spent six figures building a set for her appearance on the "Call Her Daddy" podcast -- an appearance that drew a fraction of the viewership of Trump's appearance on the "Joe Rogan Experience."
"Money can't buy you love or a good candidate," quipped Republican strategist Brad Todd -- a brutal yet accurate assessment of Harris' failed campaign. Despite her massive financial advantage, she was unable to overcome Trump's resonance with the American people and his record of delivering on promises.
As President Trump breaks his own vote total record for the third straight election -- a testament to his ever-growing support -- Kamala Harris' camp continues to see her vote totals and percentage creep higher as dubious Democrat-controlled states like California, Washington, Oregon, Colorado, and Utah inexplicably take days to finalize their counts. One can't help but wonder if there is more nefarious mischief at play, akin to the partisan machinations of Marn'i Washington and her FEMA cohorts.
In the end, this saga serves as a microcosm of the deep divisions and increasing political animosity plaguing our nation. From partisan bureaucrats denying aid to suffering Americans, to desperate campaigns squandering fortunes in a futile attempt to defeat a truly populist movement, the forces of the establishment seem willing to resort to any means necessary to cling to power. But as President Trump's growing vote totals demonstrate, the American people are no longer fooled by their tricks -- and they will not be denied their voice.
